Frederick Aldermen Approve Charter Amendment Allowing Non US Citizens To Vote In City Elections

The Alderman of Frederick decided that they would join 12 other cities in Maryland that allow non-citizens to legally vote in municipal elections. It was not a unanimous agreement and some former Alderman asked for stronger parameters. Some people weren’t as excited.  Learn more here:
